Rinne shuts out Blackhawks

The Predators held off the Blackhawks last night in a 2-0 win. Jesse Rogers from ESPNChicago.com mentions that the Hawks had a lower-than-usual 22 shots and writes, "the real key to that low number was goaltender Pekka Rinne."

Kovalchuk scores 300th goal

Zubov still bringing some impressive ice time


The New York Times hockey blog, Slap Shot recently ran an article on the success of the KHL's SKA St. Petersburg. Jeff Klein identifies PuckAgency client, Sergei Zubov, who leads the team in ice time, as a major part of SKA's success. The KHL season began on September 10th, and since that time SKA has risen to the top of the Western Division. Zubov currently has 2 goals and 3 assists in St. Petersburg's 10 games this season.

Kovalchuk scores twice in season opener
