Win Streak Ends For Canucks, but Samuelsson Remains Hot
Last night it seemed as though the Vancouver Cancucks could not break Montreal goalie Jaroslav Halak effectively as the fourth year Canadien saved 45 shots and broke the Canucks seven game win streak in a 3-2 victory. Despite the loss, the Cancucks experienced the continued strong play by winger Mikael Samuelsson who scored on a power play in the first period. In his last five games, Samuelsson has had 3 goals and 4 points. Even more impressive, since December 27th, Samuelsson has talied 9 goals 14 points
