NJ Devils winger Ilya Kovalchuk wants NHL players at Sochi Olympics

Ilya Kovalchuk didn't win an Olympic medal in Vancouver, but he'd like to give it another try in four years.Ilya Kovalchuk is among those who'd like to see NHL players take part in the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Particularly because the 2014 Winter Olympics will be played in Sochi, Russia, Kovalchuk would like to see NHL players involved once again.

"It's too far away. I know four years is a short time, but it's a long time," Kovalchuk said Monday after practicing with the Devils in San Jose. "I don't know what is going to happen, but I hope everybody's going to go again because it's exciting...
